Jennings ended the night with the GOAT title, $1 million in grand prize money and the congratulations of Trebek, who couldn't help but muse: "It has taken 15 years for Ken Jennings to finally answer the question, 'Is he as good as he appeared to be in his great run on 'Jeopardy!'?'" as he handed over the trophy. That's more eyeballs than watched the first five games of last season's NBA Finals or World Series. The third installment alone drew a huge same-day audience of 15.4 million viewers. The contest between the competitors (who have collectively appeared on "Jeopardy!" nearly 200 times, according to host Alex Trebek) ranked as the week's top entertainment program during all three of last week's matches, drawing an audience of more than 16 million viewers. The monumental win also marked the first time Jennings had defeated his longtime foe Rutter, who had a bleak showing by his standards. Tuesday's game came down to a Shakespearean question in "Final Jeopardy!" The clue was: "He has 272 speeches, the most of any non-title character in a Shakespeare tragedy." Although Jennings risked nothing, he was the only one who got it right with the answer of "Who is Iago?" Holzhauer, aka Jeopardy James - who captured our collective attention with his prolific run last spring (seriously, even Tom Brady tweeted about him) - risked it all with an incorrect answer of "Who is Horatio?" True to the GOAT moniker, the 45-year-old Washington state native had to face the stiffest of competition to earn the honor: Brad Rutter (who has won the most money of anyone in game-show history) and James Holzhauer (who holds more "Jeopardy!" records than anyone).īut Jennings was not deterred. The holder of the longest "Jeopardy!" winning streak of all time has now also captured the prestigious title of the game show's "Greatest of All Time." We headed downstairs to the ballroom and before entering he grabbed my face as if he was about to make out with me. Then he gets up and drags an audience member along with him. He then asks for your help putting on his pants (!) and shoes. After flailing on the shower floor, he'll point to his towel, if you're nice and close (as I was, duh) you hand it to him. He remains naked as he stumbles down to a shower and gets in. I don't know about you, but I play by Bath House Rules: If there is a hot naked guy, you follow him no matter where he goes. When their writhing and cavorting is over, you want to follow the sexy gay witch out of the room. When MacBeth shows up, it turns into a full-on rave orgy complete with drum-and-bass music, a strobe light, two topless lady witches and a completely naked male witch (well hung, uncut) who puts on a bull's head mask. When you get there, the three "Witches" are already having a randy time. Now, you can keep following MacBeth or you can head upstairs on your own and go through a few rooms to a narrow hallway that ends in a bar. He then goes back to his room and gets naked (decently hung, uncut) and takes a bath. Then he goes upstairs for another round of flirting with Lady MacBeth before running downstairs and killing someone. He goes down to the ballroom and watches some awesome dancing. She then heads downstairs to her bedroom and flits around for a bit before MacBeth joins her. When Lady MacBeth gets up, you want to follow her (get close and be ready to be pushy, throw elbows, and run if you have to) and she'll take you all the way upstairs to a room filled with beds before going into a room filled with bath tubs where she will then get naked and take a bath. Make note of his identity, cause we'll be following him later. You want to follow "Lady MacBeth" who is at the far right. You'll see the 12 actors in the show all posed around a large banquet table (just as you will again at the finale). You want to start in the ballroom in the basement around 8:45 (since I saw several of the same scenes repeated on my several hour journey through the space, each of these scenes must happen at multiple times throughout the night). Here is a walk-through of what to do to catch all the naughtiest bits. It's the closest you'll ever be to being in a David Lynch movie.īased on hearing accounts from friends who have been to the show multiple times, I figured out where all the nudity was going to be and I lucked into finding almost all of it quiet easily. Oh, and you're wearing a mask the whole time. You can follow them around and follow the story or just wander, looking through drawers, taking shots left on the bars, turning on the working showers, or doing whatever you want. While this is happening, 25 actors are enacting scenes in different parts of the breathtaking set. Conrad Murray is on suicide…įor those who don't know, Sleep No More is a crazy play based on MacBeth that takes place in the former McKittrick Hotel (and several other spaces, including the old Twilo nightclub, home to many of my '90s K holes) and visitors are welcome to wander around the multi-floor space wherever they like. Tom Cruise's Rock of Ages dance training was a revelation. After waiting a month (or more) for tickets once you get inside you want to make it worth your while and see as much skin as you can, right? If you're a perv like me then the answer is, "Of course!" Tom Cruise Discovers Himself During 10-Hour Sessions on Dance Floor Then Kelly Osbourne got a black eye there, Sean Parker got thrown out of it, and it was on Gossip Girl so I figured it was time to get in before all the crowds flocked. I know I'm late to the Sleep No More party, but every time I tried to get tickets it just seemed too hard. Well, I figured out how you can get the most (ahem) bang for your buck and see all the nudity. (Well, the hottest ticket has been Book of Mormon but this is a close second.) Maybe part of the reason is people know the show is full of nudity, an orgy, and other sexy goings on. For months now the hottest ticket in New York is to experimental theater "experience" Sleep No More. You can have a handful of Roaches around the 6-7 minute mark, so send them in and tear up whatever you can. When using this army, don't wait to long to go initiate combat. The Protoss are the most likely to do this as they have easy access to the Mothership Core. The obvious downside to a quick Roach build, is if your enemy spots it coming they can build a single air unit to completely counter you. This kind of build works very well on someone who has not scouted you and does not see it coming. Stalkers and Marauders are designed to kill them but often times your Roaches will vastly outnumber them so you can power through it. This means that Zerglings, Marines and even Zealots can have a hard time killing them. They have a very large health pool and are considered Armored units. The reason Roaches work so well is due to two main features. They do require gas so at least one geyser will need to be turned into an Extractor. Simply build a Roach Warren and you will gain access to them. Roaches also don't require a fancy tech build. Roaches are a very cheap, very powerful unit that Zerg players can exploit in the early game for punishing an enemy who isn't prepared. Building out your economy like this will leave you weaker in the beginning, but your economy will blast past your enemies very quickly, allowing you to amass an army at nearly double the rate of your opponent. Having the second Hatchery this early will shoot your income up, allowing you to pump out units at a much faster pace. While your second Hatchery is building, you can have your Queen building back at your first one, as well as getting a Spawning Pool going so Zergling production can start immediately. Once you have it down, start building out your new mineral line but make sure to get your army production going asap. You will reach the 300 minerals necessary for your second Hatchery very quickly. To quick expand, just make sure you save up your money after having reached the 11 Drone starting cap. Quickly expanding does leave you vulnerable as your army size will be suffering so it is important to only do this if you have scouted your enemy base and sense that they will not apply any early pressure. Your production relies on a healthy economy so having more money and gas benefits you at any stage in the game. If they eventually fend you off, you should have at least crippled them so heavily that they have to wait multiple minutes to rebuild their economy.Įxpanding as a Zerg player is a must. If your enemy was unprepared for this, it is likely they will tap out from this. While this attack happens make sure more Zerglings are constantly building and either have them group up as a second army for when the first dies, or if your first army is still surviving then send them in for support immediately. If you are initially successful, the worst thing you can do is not follow up. A key part of this rush is to keep building more lings. Once you have an amount you are happy with, run past all their stuff and tear into the worker units. Protoss and Zerg have a tougher time walling so you can wait those extra seconds to get more Zerglings. If you are facing Terran, it is best to leave now before they finish their wall. Now you can either leave now, or you can queue up another batch so that you have 12 total Lings. By the time they are build, your Spawning Pool will be down, allowing you to queue up 3 Zergling. While that builds, get another Drone and a second Overlord. Now wait for 200 minerals and place a Spawning Pool. Build up your drones until you have 8 total. The Zergling rush is very easy to do and for a lot of players, it is very hard to stop. The third option is a very early expand, giving you a second base much sooner than your enemy, which will also boost your production since Zerg production is done solely out of their Hatchery. If you want to sit back play a little more passively you can build out your tech. If you want to make it a quick match, you can rush your enemy. Like any race, you still build up your workers and Overlords but after that there are a couple things that to think of. When it comes to the early game, the Zerg have some pretty varying options. Any good Zerg player will tell you it isn't about having the biggest units, it is just about having three times as many as your enemy. Their strength lies in numbers and speed. That swarming, rushing nature is still something parctised today by Zerg players. The Zerg Rush became so popular that it is a term used even today when referring to any game where you are rushing your enemies. Offering only one size of moving pods is one way that we’re different from other storage companies, but that doesn’t mean that your options are limited when you choose SMARTBOX. And because of their relatively small footprint, they are ideal for moving dorm rooms and small apartments, as well as smaller homes that don’t have a lot of space on the property for a larger container. The size of our SMARTBOX containers is also an advantage because they are easy to access and pack, help protect your belongings from shifting in transit and getting damaged in the process, and hold about 3,000 pounds. If you decide to separate items and not maximize space, a larger container might allow items to shift against a steel frame. With SMARTBOX's smaller size, you'll be able to fit items from one or two bedrooms in the same container, keeping like items together. Packing a lawn mower and a couch together is far from ideal. But here's one reason why bigger isn't always better for container sizes: you might not have enough from one or two rooms to fill a space. You might think that's counterintuitive, especially when SMARTBOX offers an 8' x 7' x 5' container compared to 1-800-PACK-RAT's 12- and 16-foot containers. When it comes to portable storage containers, smaller can actually be a better choice because it naturally divides your items by room. It can be difficult to get the container size right. So a SMARTBOX container helps to protect your belongings from being damaged by the elements, both inside and out. Our storage pods are weather resistant, but also allow air in so the contents of the container can “breathe.” This is important because it helps prevent mold, mildew and rust in a way that all-steel containers do not. SMARTBOX offers pods for moving and storage in just one size: 8 feet x 7 feet x 5 feet. So if you find yourself going over the storage capacity of your 16-foot storage container, you might find yourself having to rent another storage container - and even if it’s the 12-foot size, it might be significantly more space than you need or can fill. The larger sizes of this storage and moving company’s containers means that they hold a lot of your belongings, but might be hard to place if you don’t have a lot of room outdoors for them to go - such as if you’re moving to or from an apartment.Īlso, the larger (16 foot) container holds only 3-4 rooms worth of furnishings. Their storage containers are made entirely of weatherproof steel and have metal skids embedded inside the container to help keep furniture dry. You might be wondering how SMARTBOX measures up as a 1-800-PACK-RAT alternative, so let’s take a look at what each of these storage companies has to offer and how they compare to each other:ġ-800-PACK-RAT rents storage containers in 12-foot and 16-foot sizes. So take a moment here to consider some of your options. If you have a local, commercial, or long distance move coming up, or you’re looking into storage facilities, you’re probably in the middle of comparison shopping - and with their convenience and cost savings over full service moving or moving truck rentals, pod moving services should be a part of your research. If you’re going to be handling the loading and unloading portion of your move, storage pods are about as easy and hassle-free as moving can get. They allow you to load up all your belongings at your own pace and schedule a date for them to be picked up and transported to your new home or office location. Moving pods are a more recent addition to the variety of moving options and storage facilities. Zoom in close and the grisliness of the scene is more apparent – explosions make meat of soldiers, and the dying crawl and stagger. The sheer visual splendour of combat and the might of the engine can make war a thing to goggle at, players peering at the screen like dogs on the wrong side of a butcher’s window, but it’s a grimy sort of spectacle. It’s hard to spot the company of heroes among the legions of anonymous dead and doomed, although the cutscenes, which provide a post-war reflection on the horror and guilt of the survivor, are often strong. The number of men dying on both sides of the conflict is terrifying, and the focal points of each map are soon clogged with bodies and the smoking ruins of machines. Given the setting, the constant barrage of noise makes sense. The soothing click-click of the mouse is drowned out by the death rattle of machine guns and the occasional whirr of a brain cog is lost in the audible violence as the Eastern Front repeatedly explodes. We present a case of presumed AFE causing immediate postpartum cardiac arrest and the use of the AOK adjunctive protocol. However, very few documented case reports show the utility and success of AOK for treatment of AFE. 3 The use of atropine (1 mg intravenously ), ondansetron (8 mg IV), and ketorolac (30 mg IV) (AOK) as an adjunctive treatment is widely discussed by obstetric providers as a treatment option that should be considered to supplement other treatment modalities. 1 Current guidelines for management of AFE focus on combating acute right heart failure and subsequent cardiogenic shock due to left heart failure. The activation of these substances leads to multiple detrimental physiologic changes resulting in pulmonary artery hypertension, acute cor pulmonale, and eventual complete cardiovascular collapse. 1, 2 AFE is hypothesized to occur when amniotic fluid enters the maternal circulation, causing massive constriction of the pulmonary vessels from the activation of physiologic mediators such as histamine, endothelin, and leukotrienes. Good news is the teenage girl lived and is at the hospital.Īt the hospital, Vanessa, the victim, wants to help Intelligence catch the man and revealed she had taken self-defense and fought back during the rape before she managed to puncture the man's eye with her fingernail and escaped. They bring him in for questioning and his cavalier attitude rubs Halstead and Lindsay the wrong way, until Antonio interrupts the interrogation - another rape occurred on the Riverwalk. It pans out and leads to Jeffrey Baker, a businessman in town for a conference. With that, Jin brings out a list of 45 guests on the computer and shows Theo the people before he identifies one as the person he saw. They also reveal both in New York and Chicago that a business convention went down each time a murder occurred. Mitchell initially thought of stealing from him after spotting his nice watch but backed out, on the off chance that the man was a cop or fellow criminal.Īfter Detectives Odafin Tutuola and Amanda Rollins arrive, they reveal that the killer Intelligence is chasing is the same one they are pursuing. Rather than release him, Antonio has him brought in and leverages Theo's knowledge of the Riverwalk to ID possible suspects during the time of the murder and he remembers a certain person who he passed by and how the guy was wearing workout gear but was just stretching the whole time, stating he thinks the guy was most likely scoping out the area. Halstead nabs a guy who fits the description, the man is Theo Mitchell but he's just a pickpocket and he denies the rape and murder accusation. Intelligence scour the Riverwalk undercover, keeping eyes open for a suspect in a hoodie. While they're en route, Voight orders the whole team into action, and they look into the killer know as the Riverwalk Killer. Under the instruction of Commander Perry, Intelligence contacts the NYPD Special Victims Unit, which sends detectives Fin and Rollins to Chicago to help with the case. They stand over the body of a young woman, raped, with her ear cut off, the familiar calling card of another series of rapes in New York City. That morning, Voight later joins Antonio at a high-profile murder downtown. He directs his father to a phone call and Voight answers to learn he has a case while leaving his son to continue exercising. Voight is surprised by his statement and asks if he is okay but Justin states he wants to say he loves his father every now and then. Voight tells Justin that he knows it might not be much but it is a start and Justin cuts him off by stating he loves him. Voight find Justin training and they talk about his new job. Lindsay enlists the help of Halstead to act as her date for her high school reunion to get back at an old rival. Burgess has an opportunity to prove herself to Intelligence. Voight and Antonio enlist the help of agents at the Special Victims Unit in New York, Fin and Rollins, to help track down the culprit of a series of rape/murders. |
