The Kamehameha attack is much easier to unleash with touch controls. In the shoes of Goku, the player must protect Bulma from incoming enemy attacks using special skills. Summary: The single player game follows Goku and his clever sidekick Bulma as they travel the world overcoming enemies and obstacles to collect the 7 Dragon Balls. Some parts are easier to control with one or the other. Generally favorable reviews based on 28 Ratings. I recommend setting the game where you can use touch screen and button controls. You are pretty much forced to replay episodes if you want to purchase character upgrades for Goku’s friends. The items in the shop are quite expensive.Maybe it’s me, but some of the boss fights seemed harder in Origins 2 than in the original Origins. You may want to return to other missions after improving and getting stronger, to see if there’s a chest you may have missed. Most importantly, it helps improve on the original game by giving players the opportunity to play as characters other than Goku, and adds a little bit of variety and multiplayer with the Survival Tower. The story is fairly interesting and, while playing the original Dragon Ball: Origins may help, it isn’t necessary before jumping into Dragon Ball: Origins 2. The most important point, that everyone should take away, is that Dragon Ball: Origins 2, like the original Dragon Ball: Origins, isn’t just for fans of the Dragon Ball anime or manga series. It’s understandable, since Dragon Power had Dragon Ball references removed. But if you did know, (and now you do!)then it makes you feel a little left out knowing that Namco Bandai didn’t include it in this release. It’s a relatively minor thing, and if you didn’t know it was supposed to be there, it’s no big deal. The US version does not, despite the fact that Bandai released the NES game in the here in 1988 as Dragon Power. The Japan version included the old NES game as an extra feature. ![]() The second is that an interesting extra feature has been removed from Dragon Ball: Origins 2 North American release – Dragon Ball: Shenron no Nazo. Fortunately, the in-game dialogue text that occurs during the episodes, is normal sized. ![]() This tends to be a common ailment among Namco Bandai’s Dragon Ball DS games, as Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans was the same way. It’s almost like you’d need a DSi XL to make it look normal. In the menus particularly, the text is extraordinarily small. Generally favorable reviews based on 28 Ratings. Oddly enough, Dragon Ball: Origins 2 really only has two failings. Generally favorable reviews based on 18 Critic Reviews Whats this User Score.
